Phantom VEO 4K Camera Package
The Phantom VEO 4K is a high-speed camera designed for media production, offering excellent 4K resolution at up to 1000 frames per second. It is a compact and rugged camera loaded with premium features that make it an ideal choice for professional videographers and cinematographers. It is suitable for capturing fast-moving objects or events that require high frame rates. This camera is a perfect match when paired with gimbals, drones, or our Mocolab Bolt Jr+ robot arm.
Some of the key features of the camera include CFast 2.0 media, 12V battery input, on-camera controls, PL mount, optical low pass filter (OLPF), programmable I/O, 10Gb Ethernet option, and Cine Raw file format. With the 10Gb Ethernet workflow, you can shoot/offload directly to a drive connected to a suitable laptop or workstation which allows the entire 72GB of RAM to be written to an SSD in about 3 minutes.
One of the unique features of the Phantom VEO 4K camera is its high-speed imaging capabilities. The camera can record at up to 938 fps at 4096 x 2304 resolution and up to 1000 fps at 4096 x 2160 resolution. At lower resolutions, the camera can record at even higher frame rates, up to 1,970 fps at 2048 x 1080 resolution. These high-speed capabilities make the camera ideal for slow-motion cinematography, where capturing fast-moving objects at high resolutions is essential.
The camera has both global shutter (GS) and rolling shutter (RS) modes, with a base ISO rating of 640T for color and 5000T for mono in GS mode, and 320T for color and 2000T for monochrome in RS mode.
The Phantom VEO 4K camera has several triggering options, including programmable trigger location (pre/post trigger recording), trigger from camera body or via software, trigger from on-camera controls, hardware trigger BNC, and high voltage (HV) trigger compatible. The camera also has timing and synchronization features like frame synchronization to internal or external clock (FSYNC), IRIG in/out (modulated or unmodulated), and SMPTE time code support.
